Agricultural Technology Institute of Castilla y León (ITACYL)
Itacyl is a public organization dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development of the Regional Government of Castilla y León. Its objective is to promote the development of agricultural and agri-food innovation capacity in Castilla y León and enhance its activity by promoting technological development and applied research. Among ITACYL’s research lines, the evaluation and characterization of vine plant material stands out, including the recovery and characterization of minority grape varieties.

Regional Wine Commission of Trás os Montes (CVRTM)
The Regional Wine Commission of Trás-os-Montes is an interprofessional organization whose objective is to represent the interests of the professions involved in the production and trade of the Trás-os-Montes Designation of Origin (DO) and the Transmontano Geographical Indication (GI), as well as to defend the collective heritage they constitute, assuming in this capacity the legal form of a regional association, a private non-profit law legal entity.
The mission of CVRTM is to certify products with the Trás-os-Montes Designation of Origin and Trás-os-Montes Geographical Indication, control the conditions underlying certification, and promote the dissemination of wine products.
Its objective is to energize, support and promote the improvement of the quality of vineyards and wine products with the Trás-os-Montes Designation of Origin and Trás-os-Montes Geographical Indication, as well as defend the Regional and National heritage they constitute.
UVaSens - University of Valladolid
UVaSens is a research group at the University of Valladolid whose aim is to prepare and characterize nanostructured films and apply them as gas or liquid sensors, applying them to the analysis and quality control of beverages and food. Their main research areas are nanostructured films of molecular materials, thin films as gas and liquid sensors, biomimetic electrochemical biosensors, voltammetric electronic tongue, and electronic noses, electronic tongues, and electronic tasting panels.
Association of Producers in Integrated Protection of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (APPITAD)

Association that currently has more than 350 members and has implemented more than 180 projects. Its main activities are research, demonstration and dissemination of all technical and economic actions aiming to improve agricultural crops in integrated production, organic agriculture and other production methods. It offers advice, training courses and webinars on the most representative agricultural products of Portugal, such as almonds, chestnuts, grapes, and olives.
Protected Designation of Origin Arribes

Arribes is a Spanish wine designation of origin that legally protects the production of grapes and the elaboration, aging and commercialization of wines in the bording area between Salamanca and Zamora connected by the Duero River, both in the autonomous community of Castilla y León. The designation was created in 2007.
