Minorsens information event in Tordesillas

MINORSENS was presented to around thirty professionals from the region’s wine sector, such as winemakers, winegrowers, representatives of some of the region’s designations of origin, etc., as well as academic institutions. The event took place at the Casas del Tratado de Tordesillas, an emblematic place in the historical relationship between Spain and Portugal that continues to progress, this time through R&D&I-based projects such as Minorsens. After learning about the objectives and main activities that are being developed within the framework of the initiative, the attendees were able to taste some of the single-varietal wines that are being made from the minority varieties studied and check the characteristics that they are capable of providing.

It was undoubtedly a day of exchange of knowledge, inspiration and awakening of the senses, helping to make the cross-border area between Castilla y León and Portugal a territory that advances through innovation, that reinvents itself every day without forgetting its roots, valuing them and sharing them with pride.
